Client Welcome Video

Hello, I'm Nayef Mubatak the founder of Mubarak Law, and whether you're with us for an accident or immigration matter, I will be your lead attorney every step of the way. We understand that any legal process can be overwhelming so we've made a series of videos to help you navigate this. This particular video relates to immigration, our software, and frequently asked questions. We are honored you've chosen Mubarak Law and we will take this as our priority to make sure your future is insured and safe.

Your immigration case will be assigned a whole team: you'll have an attorney, a lead attorney, and a case manager. You'll receive a welcome email for an online software called Law Logics. You'll receive a username and password so you can enter this portal. You're going to see a questionnaire and a checklist on the left hand side. Please do not be overwhelmed. Understand this is for internal purposes only, and you can skip things you don't understand. For the questionnaire for example, if there's an answer to a question you don't know simply skip it and we will reach out for any items that are necessary. The checklist we use as a guide for particular cases and just like every human being is different so is every case. You may not have every item. This is to help suggest and inspire what documents were missing. Again if something is necessary or mandatory, your case manager will reach out. Simply do your best to complete the questionnaire, and upload the documents you have in the checklist. This will allow us to do a draft of your case and we will reach out to you should anything be missing. Once your case is filed, it typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for USCIS to issue receipt notices. With the receipt notices, you'll be able to track your case at USCIS.gov. You can even check average processing times. This way you can get an update on your case to know where it is in that moment in time. For some of you, you may be eligible for a driver's license with these receipt notices. Our case manager can provide you more instructions if you are in need of a driver's license. Oftent times USCIS has what we call a "quiet period". You may go several months before you have an update from USCIS. We will do our best to check the case from time to time. You do need to understand, most cases with USCIS can take several months if not years. Please trust us to update you once we have updates. If you have any urgent matters or questions, of course feel free to contact our office. At Mubarak Law we take pride in the way we communicate with our clients we set an internal standard of trying to respond to any inquiry within 48 hours or two business days. Although there are some circumstances where this may not be possible please note we are doing all we can to ensure we respond to you in a timely manner. Of course you're always welcome to follow up.
