My husband and I had a great experience with Mubarak Law. In January of this year we had a consultation with Attorney Mubarak who actually informed us to wait on USCIS as we were very close to the end of the process (we had filed everything ourselves over 2 years ago). He didn’t try to retain our business or make guarantees that he couldn’t deliver on. After waiting some time and getting both some good news and then a request for more information we decided to retain the firm’s services at the beginning of April. Within one week of setting every up with Lara we received a letter from USCIS that my husband’s case was approved and his green card issued (with no interview!!). I would like not only to give attorney Mubarak and his team a review, more than that, I want my testimony to help others in the same situation. My husband was detained by ICE on Feb. 2017. I can say that period of time was the worse of our lives. Somebody had anonymously give immigration fake criminal information about him and since he was out of status he ended up detained. Gladly we were already married for a couple of months and I had just became a US citizen a couple of days before his arrest. After 5 weeks detained I was able to get him out by paying the bond. You would think this drama would be over shortly but once you are detained the process of legalizing your situation becomes way more complicated and timing consuming. That's when I hired Mubarak law to take care of this process. If you are in removal proceedings, do not do this alone. Hire a competent attorney that can help you go though this. I'm so happy to have chosen this firm. Luck didn't seem to be on our side and if it wasn't for their competency we wouldn't be able to say that WE DID IT!! It's finally over!! And I say that with tears... WE DID IT!! After getting detained, waiting 2 years to receive an interview appointment, waiting months to get a response, getting denied on that interview without a request for more evidence, getting pulled over and not having a valid driver's license (attorney Mubarak was the one the figure it out how to renew your license being on removal), having to file for a motion to reconsider supporting it with tones of more evidence, waiting months for background check to be completed... and we finally got the good news from attorney Mubarak saying that WE DID IT!! Case was terminated by the judge YESTERDAY. In the middle of a Pandemic he was still contacting people and making things happen. Thank you attorney Mubarak and team. I have no words to thank you enough for your hard work and commitment. You also were so empathetic and understanding towards our feelings. I met Nayef when he was working for Njame law firm, he was assigned to my case. I was applying for citizenship but I had a couple of obstacles in the way. I had two misdemeanor drug charges. I was recommended to this Lawyer's office for my investor's visa and residency. He walked me on all the process and was very forthcoming on all my questions. After he took my case and the application was done, it took only one week to get a successful answer for the one year permit. After that we applied for the extension and it was approved after one week as well. On the application to obtain the residency and green card approval after the last extension, it took 4 months and half for our case to be approved and our green card application to process. All in all, since the first application to the residency final approval it took one year and 3 months total. My husband Kelly and I used Nayef Mubarak of Mubarak Law firm in Orlando for my green card case. I am a citizen of Venezuela and entered to United States in 2012 on a J1 Visa subject to the 2 year home residency requirement. After obtaining my second J1 Visa I married my husband and we contacted Nayef to help us. Gay marriage is fairly new in the US and we found Nayef to be very caring, accepting, experienced, and knowledgeable, therefore this is why we chose him as our lawyer. Attorney Mubarak helped us obtain an I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) a waiver for the 2 year rule home residency requirement and finally a Green Card. Before our AOS interview and our last day with Nayef he did a good job comforting and ensuring us on such an important day. Attorney Mubarak is the best attorney I had a chance to work with in Orlando. My case with the INS was ongoing since 2006, had 3 different attorneys not including attorney Mubarak, 2 denial letters so it was a bit of a complicated case. Attorney Mubarak dug in all the past files and presented me with options that none of my previous attorneys considered. He was very proactive in concussing INS officers and getting answers. When we finally received an interview notice it was via personal phone call to Attorney Mubarak (unheard of!) from an INS officer, and when we walked into the INS offices for our interview appointment the day after Thanksgiving we were the only people there.
