Mariam Sardar - Associate Attorney
Mariam Sardar was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York in a community made up of culturally rich and diverse immigrant populations. After moving to Florida, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a Certificate in National and Comparative Intelligence from the University of South Florida in 2014. Upon graduating, Mariam decided to pursue a career in legal advocacy and public service by attending law school.
Attorney Mariam Sardar graduated from the City University of New York School of Law with her Juris Doctor degree in 2017. During law school, she was a member of the Immigrant and Non-Citizens Rights Clinic as well as the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility (“CLEAR”) Project, representing clients adversely impacted by counterterrorism policies.
Mariam was selected for an Excelsior Fellowship after graduating and joined the New York State Liquor Authority, prosecuting cases detailing violations of New York’s liquor law on behalf of the State.
Mariam is excited to focus on her passions for immigration advocacy and client representation by assisting with Immigration and Personal Injury cases at Mubarak Law.
